I was so in love with this lady in the 90's. She never got anywhere near her just do. Just a phenomenal artist with exceptional talent. Nobody had a better or more powerful voice, no one was any better looking either. I thought she was the most beautiful woman in all of Country music. I wanted this awesome song to be released a single. I think it would have pushed her already Gold Album "Wishes" to beyond Platinum Status. And the title track was still on there as well. The First single off the next album the ill-fated "Don't Fence Me In" in 1996 which she spent two years producing should have been either "Woman of The World" or "Ghost of a Chance". The latter could have been a signature song for her. All of her CD's were more then good enough that with the right promotion they could have been Multi-platinum sellers. It angers me that RCA let her go after the inane controversy over the "Wild At Heart" video. Should have never happened. If they had tried a different approach with the video, I still think that would have been a solid hit for her. It was just starting to get more adds. Then there was enough great material on that CD to make her one of the top Stars of the day. RCA was to cheap to produce a Video for the first single "Ready Willing and Able". That album should have been huge, as should have her comeback album "Stepping Stone" in 1998 with Lyric Street. Again, just like RCA they were too cheap to produce a video for the first release as well. The title track was still a Top 15 hit, but you can't tell me it wouldn't have made at least the top 10 if not top 5 had they produced a video. She had so many great songs on that album that they failed to release. "You can't Go Home Again (Flies on the Butter)" was a career song. I mean the station in Omaha WOW Radio Ranch had been playing it as a "Hot Track" for months in 1998, then they went ahead and released a completely different song and video.

John Stewart is simply an amazing song writer & guitar player. Will stand the test of time.

Love this song and album. Tomorrow is our 47th wedding anniversary. 48 years of John being part of our love and lives. Takes me back through the years of memories. How sweet they are. Going to the 50 year Phoenix Concert memorial celebration this coming March that the John Stuart band is hosting and playing. Oh how excited we are.
